UKG
Upper Kindergarten at Innocent Kiddies is the final and most important stage of early childhood education — the bridge between preschool and primary school. Our UKG programme prepares children aged 5 to 6 years to transition confidently into Class 1, with strong academic foundations, good habits, and a positive attitude toward learning.
At this level, children develop fluency in reading and writing, strengthen their mathematical thinking, and begin to explore subjects like General Knowledge, Environmental Science, and basic Computer awareness. They are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, express ideas, and solve simple problems — skills that will serve them throughout their academic life.
What UKG prepares your child for:
- Independent reading of simple sentences and short paragraphs
- Writing full sentences in English and Hindi
- Mental maths, number patterns, and basic word problems
- Introduction to Computer basics and digital literacy
- Environmental Science — plants, animals, weather, and community
- Leadership activities, project work, and oral presentations
- School readiness — discipline, time management, and self-care habits
